To promote innovation collaboration between Taiwan and Japan, SIT Tokyo Hub offers flexible office desks and meeting rooms for startups.
Please read the usage guidelines carefully and fill out the reservation form. We will contact you after reviewing your application!
Application Guidelines
A. 1-Day General Access:
- Individuals with a valid Republic of China (Taiwan) ID card, National Health Insurance card, or passport (one of these) are eligible to register and use the shared space (excluding meeting rooms). Each individual may invite up to 3 Japanese partners to join them in using the space. During the trial operation period, access is free until April 30, 2025. The management team reserves the right to approve or deny entry.
- Usage Rules:
- The hub offers shared office space with open seating, along with access to drinking water, coffee, snacks, and internet. Users are responsible for managing their own belongings, as the management team is not liable for personal items.
- The space has a daily capacity limit of 20 people for safety reasons. The management team reserves the right to monitor and control the number of daily entries.
- Priority will be given to Taiwanese entrepreneurs. Space allocation may favor Taiwanese startup teams.
- Meeting rooms cannot be reserved in advance. However, if a room is available, users may register on-site for up to 60 minutes.
- Phone booths are limited to 30-minute sessions per use.
B. Long-Term Access:
- Taiwanese startups can apply for long-term use by submitting a form for review. Upon approval, they will be granted access with non-fixed seating.
- A deposit of JPY 100,000 per company is required, refundable upon withdrawal from the program. The company must submit the titles, names, and photos of up to 4 employees for verification.
- Usage Rules: Access is free during the trial operation period until April 2025.
- Meeting rooms can be reserved, with a maximum booking time of 2 hours. Please adhere to reservation rules.
- Visitors may be registered and hosted by the company.
- Startups are welcome to participate in activities organized by Startup Island TAIWAN.
- Companies can apply to host their own events in the space. Events can be held on weekdays, but for weekend or evening events, additional costs (such as staffing and cleaning fees) must be covered by the hosting company. Refreshments for events must be self arranged, and any additional fees must be paid. Furniture rearranged for events must be returned to its original layout afterward.
- Up to 1 hour of expert consultation per month can be reserved.
- Phone booths are limited to 30-minute sessions per use.
- Lockers may be requested (subject to availability) for a monthly fee of JPY 5,000, which includes contributions to beverage and snack sponsorships.

- In case of damage to the premises or equipment, repair, cleaning, or compensation fees may be charged as necessary.
